ASU’s MacroTechnology Works offers capabilities that are an order of magnitude larger than those available at other universities. Core Research Facilities for Advanced Electronics and Photonics as well as Solar Fabrication provide comprehensive, industry-compatible resources to securely prototype, test and produce vital new technologies.

The world-class caliber of these facilities makes MacroTechnology Works central to the photovoltaics, batteries and power-electronics work of ASU’s new Advanced Materials, Processes and Energy Devices (AMPED) Science and Technology Center.

Alongside enabling key Science and Technology Center projects, MacroTechnology Works also facilitates ASU’s leading semiconductor research and workforce development efforts.
